Rebecca (1940)
Alfred Hitchcock
Criterion 135
When a naive young woman marries a rich widower, she finds the memory of his first wife haunting her.
James - A great use of film to tell a story, however, it was confusing in its intricate story line.
C
Britney - The very creepy maid and flip-flopping husband makes for a classic horror film. Great movie to watch on a thunder-storming night, but maybe just on rental.

Well, I see it is time we go our separate ways, huh, you traitors! Just joking. From a horror fan's perspective (even through this is barely a thriller), I did find the twist to be a definite high point, and I can't help but be drawn to a burning fire ending, like Theater of Blood, Night of the Living Dead, and Suspiria, etc - it's such a final treat to me, and the maid made one that was indeed destructive. Not the best Hitchcock film, not the worse.
