Rushmore (1998)
Wes Anderson
Criterion 65
A rebellious teenager from a prestigious private school falls for a first grade teacher.
James - First and foremost, a reason to love Bill Murray. Also, a great showcase of Wes Anderson's directing talent.
A-
Britney - A wonderful, not so predictable story of a boy coming into age. I just love Max Fisher.

I enjoy horror more than anything other film genre that could be presented before me, but I do like to browse and pick out other favorites from different fields to add to the list of the movies I love best. Along with The Royal Tenenbaums, this has managed to squeeze into my top 30 (you can imagine the controversy and outrage this has been causing! - just like when I wrote that folk love song and put it on my favorite punk website - I had my punk card revoked!) Aaanywho, the "A"s are well deserved, and once more I can only thank you for showing me these movies - such a unique form of comedy. I couldn't predict what was going to happen either. (*eats popcorn quickly with eyes wide and glued to the screen)
